Davi Bowen, Director of Agriculture
Davi heads up day-to-day operations of the hopyard as well as relationship development and management with local breweries and other area hop farmers.

Davi is keenly interested in sustainable agriculture and brings this interest in to every aspect of the operations at Greenmont. From cover crops to non-chemical weed and pest control methods, Davi is constantly looking for new ways to keep the operation sustainable and eco-friendly.
Andrew Cox, Business Development
Andrew heads up relationship development and management with local breweries and other area hop farmers. Andrew comes from a business strategy & analysis background and brings a keen eye for process improvement and marketing strategy to the table.

Andrew is a native of the Shenandoah Valley and currently resides in Charlottesville. In his spare time, Andrew likes to work out, hike, fish and spend time with his wife Kelsey and their Clumber Spaniel, Sadie.

Meghan & Jim Murray, Owners
James B. Murray Jr and Meghan R. Murray are the father-daughter team behind both Greenmont Hopworks and Greenmont Farms.
​
Jim’s background is investment banking and venture capital for telecom and information technology businesses. An avid hunter, comfortable in his workshop, Jim’s passion is maintaining the natural world that composes the farm he has invested hours in every day of his adult life.

Meghan returned to Greenmont, her childhood home, in 2014 to focus on the sustainability of the farm and to instill a love for the outdoors in her children. She also runs a strategy consulting firm and teaches at UVa’s Darden School of Business.
David Rodgers, Farm Manager
Dave oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations at Greenmont Farms. From plot and land preparation to irrigation and fertilizing, Dave uses his experience and innate knowledge of the farm to promote growth using sustainable, environmentally-sound methods.

Dave is a native of Central Virginia and currently resides in Scottsville, Virginia. Dave is an avid Virginia Cavaliers fan and loves to spend time with his family as well as hunt and fish.
Kerry Gilmer, Agriculturalist
Kerry is the resident agriculturalist in charge of strategic care and planning at Greenmont Farms. From soil sampling to plant sourcing and planning, Kerry works to maintain the health of the farm's products through carefully calculated methodologies.
​
Kerry's past experiences as an orchardist at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello bring a wealth of knowledge of farming in the Piedmont to Greenmont's operation. Kerry is a native of Ivy, Virginia.
